About us
- Bioinformatics@school was developed by the Centre for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics (CMBI), Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre and the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre (NBIC).
- Bioinformatics@school was created for
high school chemistry and biology lessons and pupils and anybody
else who is interested in the wonderful world of DNA, proteins, and
bioinformatics.
- Bioinformatics@school originated from the Dutch project Bioinformatica: leven in de computer (Bioinformatics: a bit of life)), which is part of the Dutch national initiative of DNA-labs on the road. For a
description of the DNA-labs, see this article in Science in School.
- Bioinformatics@school's team consists of Robbie Joosten, Celia van Gelder and Hienke Sminia. We thank Maïlys Guillard for her contributions to our website.
Feel free to e-mail us with any questions or remarks you may have.
On behalf of all the people who contributed to Bioinformatics@school we wish you a lot of fun on this website!
